Build

Build. Concept into a working product.

We build it, launch it and sell it. You see the cost of every sale.

Fixed scope, fixed date, fixed price. I only build it if a two-week sprint proves it is worth building.

Product build

Before these: fifteen years of data and software work for large organisations, including BHP, South32 and Woodside.

Who it is for

Founders who are not technical.

You talk business. I make every technical decision and explain it, so you never talk to a ticket queue.

Starting from an idea
Nothing built yet is the cheapest place to be. The sprint tells you what to build, what it costs, and whether it is worth it, before you spend real money.
Stuck at 70%
Half-built in Lovable, Bolt or v0? Sometimes it is a 2 to 3 day save, sometimes a proper rebuild. I tell you which, then finish it either way.
Definition of done

Done means a stranger can sign up, pay, and use it without you in the room.

Six things, all checkable by someone who does not read code.

Payments live. Stripe in production, so real money can move on day one.
Auth and accounts. Sign-up, login and reset.
Deployed on your infrastructure, not a preview link in someone's sandbox.
Analytics wired. You see what users actually do from the first session.
Terms and privacy. The legal pages real customers and app stores expect.
Onboarding. A stranger reaches value without a demo call from you.
What happens, week by week

Sprint first. Build only if it is worth building.

Every stage ends with something you can hold and a gate you control.

Sprint, week 1
Draft and alignment
Your idea becomes a written structure: scope, user flows, what is in and what is out. You get a draft spec to read, mark up and tear apart. Gate: you sign off the scope.
Sprint, weeks 1 to 2
Working concepts
Your core screens, designed for real, so you react to something concrete. Gate: you pick the direction.
Sprint, week 2
Clickable prototype
A prototype you can tap through and put in front of real customers, with the full dossier: spec, stack, budget, timeline and risk. Gate: build or don't build, your call.
Build, weeks 1 to 6
The build
A senior pod builds to the signed spec and I make the technical calls. A staging link is live from week one and there is a demo every Friday. Gate: the definition-of-done checklist.
Build, final week
Test
Tested the way a stranger uses it: sign up, pay, reach value. You get a passed launch checklist, in writing. It ships when it passes.
After launch
Maintain
Sixty days of defect cover and monitoring from day one, then iteration sprints driven by what the analytics say. Month to month, walk away anytime.
What it costs

One fixed price, scoped on a call.

We agree one price before any build starts, with no hourly meter. You have exact numbers before any build decision, and you can walk away at any gate and keep everything produced.

The guarantee, in writing

Every line here is a contract clause.

If we are late, we pay. Every week past the delivery date is credited back to you.
60 days of cover. Any defect in the first 60 days after launch is fixed at our cost.
You own everything. Your repository and your infrastructure, documented, with a recorded handover video.
No path, no fee. If the sprint cannot define a build path inside your budget, you do not pay for it.
Leave at any gate, take everything. No exit fees, no haggling.

The Teardown

Send me your numbers.

Not projections, and not a good month. What actually happened. Rough and honest beats tidy and optimistic every time.

·What you sell, and for how much
·What a customer is worth over the whole relationship
·How many enquiries turn into customers
·What you spend on Meta today, and what it returns, if you spend anything
·Who could buy this, and where

If you do not track one of those, say so. That is an answer too, usually the interesting one.

A written verdict, and I aim to have it back inside five business days. Nothing to pay, now or for this.
